My family and I had a great time. The crew was very knowledgeable. We saw hundreds of dolphins, 2 humpback whales and 1 gray whale. The crew was able to spot the wildlife from far away and took chase to help us get a good look which added a level of excitement. The snack bar had minimal snack options but the cocktails were good and the hot chocolate hit the spot in the cold weather. Prices were reasonable. The seats on the top deck were a little cold and uncomfortable, but it wasn't a big deal. Overall the trip was a great experience, and it ended with a lovely sunset as we prepared to end at the dock.

We saw 6 grey whales, some sea lions, and a group of dolphins, it was a very fun experience. I do recommend bringing warm clothes and a pair of sun glasses. However they do have some you can buy on the boat for cheap.

The staff at San Diego Whale Watch was so friendly and fun. We were able to spot two grey whales and they followed them but were respectful so as not to disturb the whales. We also learned about some whale habits and different species. Fun for all! And there was also a lovely sunset!
