Donuts of Portland

Overview

This 2 1/2 hour 4 mile tour takes you to some of the city's most famous donut shops for a taste of Portland's most delicious doughy delights - all food included! We'll cruise between 4 donut shops and ride through several of Portland's most lively and iconic neighborhoods including Old Town, Chinatown, the Pearl District, the Park Blocks, Portland State University and the scenic Portland Waterfront. Our first stop is NOLA with their rich, chocolaty layered La’ssant. Then on we go to local favorite Coco Donuts, which not only has scrumptious donuts but also roasts their own coffee. Then we cruise down the hill, across the river and to Delicious Donuts, winner of the best donuts in Portland award. Finally we'll roll back across the river, past the famous Portland Oregon sign and to the most famous place in Portland, Voodoo donuts where we'll skip the line (often an hour long!) and try the notoriously delicious bacon maple bar (vegetarian option available).

The two of us had a private tour with Anna, who did an amazing job! She was friendly and knowledgeable. We loved getting to see different neighborhoods in the city, go for a morning bike ride, and of course try those tasty donuts, which were the best I've ever had (especially Blue Star and Nola!). It's not rigorous at all. Good for all ages I would think. I would definitely recommend.

My mom and I took a trip to Portland for a friend’s wedding and decided to see as many sites as we could and make great memories. This donut tour was an amazing way to start the day. Scotland was a fantastic guide and made sure we felt comfortable every step, or cycle, of the way. He was a wealth of knowledge and passion. We never felt unsafe, even while riding through crowds of protesters and amongst traffic. The donuts were a great bonus to getting to experience the city. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to explore the city and have some sweet treats in between.

We had a fun (and delicious) tour with Anna this past weekend. It was our first time to Portland so what a better way to explore a bit of the city than to bike and stop at 4 amazing donut shops! Anna was extremely knowledgeable not only of the city but also of donut recommendations at each stop (The lavender one at Coco was my favorite). Portland is an extremely biker-friendly city as well. Highly recommend for first-timers!
