Door County Day Trips

Overview
This tour is different from other Door County Tours because we offer a comprehensive tour of the county from Sturgeon Bay to Death's Door in one full day trip. We offer a box lunch and a luxury vehicle which seats only ten. Our tour is more personal with lots of room, the seats are leather captain's chairs with armrests, shoulder straps, and USB chargers for everyone, local guides, personal attention, and customized tours based on group interests. Finally, we have two very convenient meeting points, and offer pick up service to customers staying South of Egg Harbor.

Seaquist Orchards Farm Market

Travelers will also get to see some of the orchards that the family maintains.

Ellison Bluff State Natural Area
Travelers will have a scenic drive down a tree canopied road that sneaks back to a little park which is perched on a massive bluff overlooking Green Bay. Visitors can walk down the stepped path to an overlook which is literally perched out on the sheer face of a rather high cliff overlooking the bay as far as you can see. Stunning views and a little thrilling if your brave enough to go out to the main viewpoint for a look. But fear not, there are plenty of great views available from just about everywhere.
7
Sister Bay
A narrated drive through the popular village of Sister Bay. Home to Scandinavian culture, a beautiful shore front, and quaint little shops.

Peninsula State Park
Peninsula State Park is another Door County Must See. Travelers will be driven down the beautifully tree canopied roadways that twist through the park. I’m torn about writing my review. First there was a mix-up on our booking dates and Dave fit us in on the date we were supposed to be scheduled. I’m grateful for that! He was a great tour guide & very knowledgeable and I know we saw things we would’ve missed on our own. But, the tour was advertised as 8am-5pm. We got picked up at 8:30 & dropped off at 4. When I booked there was a list of what we’d see & do: we didn’t see the Eagle Bluff Lighthouse in Peninsula State Park, didn’t stop at a winery in Egg Harbor, no stop in Carlsville and didn’t see the Sherwood Point lighthouse. I feel that if the tour lasted the advertised hours we would gotten the full tour. Perhaps the description of the tour should be updated.

I'm sorry you had mixed feelings. However, I do need to point out a couple of things. 1) You booked the wrong date, I then opened up my closed tour and added your group. 2) You were waiting at the wrong location at the pickup spot, even though I sent you a text with exact directions 3) Please tell me where it is advertised to be over at 5pm. That is just not true. 4)We did see the Sherwood Point Lighthouse when we visited the Boat Landing at the Mouth of the Sturgeon Bay canal. So again, this is not true. 5) Daily variability is expected, big tours take longer and since I added 2 more people to an already full tour, yes, that means we will see less so we don't go way over on time. 6) I pick up in two towns, 30 miles apart. If I pick up in Egg Harbor at 8am, please do the math to figure out when I will be in Sturgeon Bay for your pickup. Honestly, I try very hard to make everyone happy but this review was inaccurate, had false accusations, and general misunderstandings about what is possible on a group tour.

Dave is a great teacher and tour guide of the highlights of Door County. Great way to spend a day seeing the sights and learning a lot on the way.
