We really enjoyed our flight. It was our entire group's first time in a helicopter. Adam was a great pilot. For the doors off tour, there was not a bad seat. Views were amazing and we loved the soundtrack that they coordinated to the different sites. Loved seeing the island from above. It is such an awesome and unique perspective. It is windy and chilly when you are at the higher elevations. They do provide jackets that are pretty warm but if you tend to be cold, you may want to wear a sweatshirt underneath. Don't pick the seat on the outside if only being secured by a seatbelt makes you nervous. We felt safe the entire time but the open doors may feel a little scary at times to the less risky type. However, you can't beat the views with no obstruction from doors. Would choose doors off again for sure.

We have been very active on our Kauai vacation,(hikes, scuba, zip lining,tubing…) but the doors off With air Kauai helicopter tour is hands down the most amazing experience. Captain Nick was extremely knowledgeable, and guided us safely in, around, and over the ravines and ridges. I felt completely safe and secure and I was on the outside. Don’t fret about the weather. It down poured about 15min before we left, and had cloud cover but that just meant more rainbows and waterfalls! 10/10 would do it again. This splurge is worth every penny.
