Overview

At Defiance Rafting, we expect our guides and their passengers to display perfect paddling form when rafting through the Class III–IV Shoshone Rapids. When they do, which is mostly all the time, we reward their excellence by letting them raft it again. When they don't, we punish them by making them redo it, which, oddly enough, they never seem too upset about.

Jamie and Tanner were great guides for our group. We separated into two different rafts and both groups had an amazing experience! Was fun, safe, kids and adults had a fantastic time. Beautiful location. We will definitely be back!

We had a blast with this company! We felt so safe and at home with them! I called around to a few place and felt this company was the best and they are! Everyone is so we trained and truly read for anything! I trust them so much. We will be back! We loved our guid Brad! We made this trip for us! He truly was the best and made our trip so much fun. Even when he had so much thrown at him he handed it so well! Love this company so much! I truly felt so safe and at home with them. They have the most kind people working here. 💚 So if you have any doubts or reservations don’t. I would book with them. We will be back for sure! You get so much for money with this company too! Worth every penny!

The experience at Defiance was perfect! The guide was amazing and professional. It was the perfect level of adrenaline inducing thrill, while knowing we were safe with our guide, Benjamin (aka Thumper). Highly recommend!
