The Lake View Tour is a wonderful way to get your feet wet while experiencing a helicopter flight in the Smokies. Douglas Lake covers more than 28,000 acres across three counties and has over 500 miles of shoreline. This flight will carry you over the French Broad River toward Douglas Dam and up to the edge of Mountain Cove Marina. On clear days there are beautiful panoramic views of the Great Smoky Mountains in the distance.

What To Expect

Scenic Helicopter Tours

Our Lake View flight will extend you past the French Broad River and take you out to Douglas Lake. Douglas Lake is a 33,000 acre man-made lake with over 450 miles of shoreline. This flight will get you up to 1500 feet in altitude, allowing you to get a superb view of the Great Smoky Mountains towards the South. Along the route you will see areas of farmland and quilt-like patterns of pastures. As you get closer to Douglas Lake you will fly next to Douglas Dam. On most days you are able to see the Plateau off to the Northwest that divides Tennessee and Kentucky. Includes River Ride points of interest you may see along the way: English Mountain, Boat / Jet Ski Rental Areas, Fishing / Camping and Kyker Korn Maze which is (seasonal).

The most incredible and amazing view. The staff was extremely eager to help and assist with any thing we needed pre, during, and after our flight. This ride was a complete surprise by my boyfriend and the staff pulled everyone together to turn an incredible helicopter ride into my engagement. Our pilot Collin and our fantastic host, and photographer, Jay, truly made this amazing moment something I will cherish forever. Thank you to everyone who made this moment so perfect and special.

was scared at first but after take off the flight was amazing and loved it . cant wait until we do the next one the next time we are in town i cant wait to do it all again really soon loved it my husband ask me to marry him again during the flight and all i can say it that u never see this side of world with being up in person like we was it was a sight no body cant explain
