What To Expect

BREW-ed

This Brewery Tour is hosted by a Certified Cicerone, a recognized expert when it comes to beer. As your guide takes you to each brewery, you'll do more than just drink. You'll learn about the brewing process, the ingredients and the history of beer while you discover some of the best breweries Asheville has to offer. At each stop on the brewery tour, you will enjoy three to four six ounce samples of beer. It is highly recommended that you eat a substantial meal before the tour and take smaller samples if you feel like you've had enough alcohol. In between breweries, your guide will tell you about the history of Asheville and how it came to be the beautiful city it is today. Feel free to ask questions at any point during the tour. Our guide Michael Konschnik was amazing. He was very knowledgeable about craft beer and it's history. He was very engaging, got everyone on the tour involved. He has a wonderful spirit.

Highly recommend BREW-ed Tours! Our guide, Michael, was awesome! He took us to 3 local breweries, and we enjoyed all the beers he selected for us to sample. He shared lots of stories about the different beers and the Asheville brewery scene. We'd definitely go on another tour next time we visit Asheville.

The tour ended up being just my wife and I but Michael agreed to still do the tour. Very informative tour and Michael had us tasting very diverse beers that he planned out to avoid ruining our taste buds up front.
