we found this to be slow and it felt like a marketing plug for the shops and restaurants mentioned along the way

Hi Maura We're sorry that you didn't enjoy the content. Most people seem to like it and on VoiceMap it has an average of 4.5 stars. Have you tried our Fairy Tale Houses tour? It's also in Carmel by the Sea and might be more to your liking.

The audio tour was informative about Carmel some history which is beneficial to a newcomer. It was enjoyable to find some of the secret passageways and secret gardens throughout the community. It highlighted some long time restaurants and some of the top wine tasting rooms. Unfortunately it did not tell me that I’ve gone too far or that I need to turn around when I was off track. I walk two blocks without any redirection so that was a little disappointing. I have been attempting to finish the one hour audio tour for two days. It’s nice that I will have it for longevity and the information for my journal. I would only recommend the audio to redirect you if you’re off the path. 100

Interesting info. Not intuitive to use/start. Had trouble getting the correct recordings to play. Lasted closer to 2 hrs, not 1. Beautiful city!
