What To Expect
1
Coors Field
Built in 1995 in the heart of downtown Denver, Coors Field is home to our beloved Rockies and a must-see stop when visiting the Mile High City.
2
Dairy Block
This historic block, located in downtown Denver’s LoDo neighborhood, was once home to Windsor Dairy and is now a vibrant micro-district that boasts 15 shops, 19 restaurants, seven bars, a luxury coworking space, and a 172-room boutique hotel.
3
Denver Union Station
Denver Union Station is the cultural hub and the “crown jewel” of the city. The addition of world-class dining, shopping, and the award-winning Crawford Hotel has revitalized and transformed Denver Union Station far beyond its humble beginnings.
4
Cherry Cricket
This award-winning local spot has been serving delicious burgers, Colorado green chili and local beers since 1945.
5
Mcgregor Square
In the heart of Lower Downtown Denver (LoDo), adjacent to Coors Field, McGregor Square spans an entire downtown block. This new development includes The Rally Hotel, residences, restaurants, retail outlets, and expansive food-hall, all circling a 17,000 square foot plaza complete with a stadium-sized LED screen.
6
El Chapultepec
Denver's oldest jazz club closed during the COVID-19 pandemic but still sits in a historic building near Coors Field.
7
LoDo
Short for Lower Downtown, LoDo is the heart and center of the Mile High City and contains some of Denver's best local restaurants and bars.
8
The Wynkoop
Wynkoop is Colorado’s First Brewpub. For almost three decades they have been brewing handcrafted beer in a modest basement brewery underneath Denver’s largest pool hall. Over the years the neighborhood has transformed, and Colorado’s craft beer industry has exploded.

Dec 2017
When you put "Savor Denver" in to an anagram solver/generator you get "endeavors" and "oversaved", among some other less interesting words. On the one hand, I had higher hopes for online anagram algorithms. But these veritable low-grade websites have inadvertently hit upon two key ideas related to Mrs. Baumgart's food tour. The tour was indeed an endeavor. Not in the sense that it was hard work (although my fiercely out of shape father might disagree, but then he is always quibbling) but in the sense that it was an experience of focus, of intentionality. We went to five or six restaurants at a measured pace. We learned things related to the chefs and cuisines but also to the sights and culture around us. It was relaxing and stimulating, a culinary group massage without all the mess. It helped me appreciate things I knew and things that were new. It was also a bargain! The key thing here is that we got so much more out of our time thanks to Jessica. The food was a deal for the price but we enjoyed the company of our host and fellow guests even more. It just worked. Quite chuffed.
