In Fernandina there is so many beautiful houses that are overlooked because people do not know the stories that go along with the homes. On our tour we will talk about a handful of the people that lived in these homes that will help to paint a story that goes along with these homes. Also, we discuss why pirates were so attracted to our island during the piracy golden age. There is so much history to discuss you will feel lie you are traveling through time as you walk our historical streets as you listen to your tour guide.

Our guide was fun, animated and a great story teller loaded with facts and dates for the amazing history of the island and it long history. We walked around and were able see a lot of landmarks and Florida firsts. Well worth the time spent. Thanks for a great historical tour!

Tim understands that what history is all about, is the telling of stories. And this is why historical fiction novels are so much more interesting reading than the boring history books that you had to memorize cover to cover in college. Because it's not just facts and figures and dates and names that make history fascinating, it's the story. Tim is an engaging and enthusiastic tour guide and he presents a fountain of informative stories about the history of Fernadina Beach that make the 90 minutes fly by. I can't believe it took us 10 years of visits to Fernandina to finally take a walking tour! but absolutely well worth it, highly recommend this to anyone.
