Downtown Flagstaff Haunted History Tour

Overview
Explore Flagstaff’s haunted history on this walking tour. Eccentric guides will show guests a side of this town seldom seen before. Learn about the robberies, murders, and suicides that rocked this town to it’s core.

Flagstaff was once a sleepy railroad settlement at the base of Mount Humphries. How did it survive to become a town with ghosts rather than a ghost town? Colorful characters from the town’s past and the buildings they labored to create are the subject of amusing anecdotes and ghostly tales in historic downtown. The 1926 train depot and Hotel Monte Vista are not only of historic note–both buildings are known as supernatural hotspots. The sad tragic story of Marie Walkup and her murdered children is set in 1930s Flagstaff and is a chilling reminder of life’s uncertainties. Don’t let that overshadow the mischievous and curious spirits whose stories are shared!

On this tour, due to the length of stories and number of stops, we will not be entering any historic haunts.
