Downtown LA is very underrated. For me, taking this walking tour is one of the highlights of my family's trip because it gave me the chance to discover this unfamiliar side of town through the foods it has to offer. The tour is well-paced and my 60+ yr old parents didn't have any difficulty with the pace of the walking tour. I was told that the whole tour is about 1.3 miles in distance lasting for 3 hours. These are places I think I would have difficulty of finding out by my own so for me, it's really worth taking this trip. I had the chance to meet other locals as well - which was fun. The interesting thing is, even locals themselves, take this tour - hoping they can re-discover this side of LA. I really liked the maple bacon doughnut! You should definitely try it during the tour. Take lots and lots of pictures - if you're a movie buff, some places would look familiar. Our tour guide, Ciera Thompson, is very friendly, considerate and very pleasant. She encourages people in the tour to ask questions so that she can be able to make the tour more informative. Definitely recommending this. :)

We took the tour with Ciera and can't say enough good things about her and this food tour! As soon as we met her we knew we were in for a great experience. One person in our group is gluten-free and she made sure there was food to eat for her at all but one food stop. The tour is so much more than the delicious foods. She so eloquently discusses the history of downtown LA and how much the food scene has changed with a changing neighborhood. We have taken food tours in other cities and this one was a definite favorite. This was a highlight of our trip to LA. It's a nice non-touristy thing to do. Thank you Ciera for a wonderful afternoon of eating!

We took my daughter and one of her college friends on the food tour led by Will. Had a great time! It was a very interesting tour and we got to try plenty of food. I have been on many food tours and this gets a top rating for taking us to a wide variety of interesting places that we would not have figured out on our own in a short period of time. Will was extremely accommodating to our interests. As an added bonus we were able to get out tickets through groupon making it more affordable. Wear good walking shoes. We were completely exhausted afterwards
