I am a Nashville resident, and I feel like I really got to experience a unique piece of Nashville history and food culture with A Little Local Flavor. Many of my favorite stories about Nashville were told in a new light, and with such attention to detail! Christine really does a great job highlighting the most historic places in Nashville, seamlessly weaving them into several exciting food stops. The true Nashville food staples are showcased on her tour. As someone who loves adult beverages, I also appreciated that she included a couple on her tour, with alcohol-free options for children, etc.. The timing of the tour was perfect, with enough time in between stops to digest and walk off that rich southern food! I will definitely be recommending this to any friends or family coming into town!

The tour was a perfect mix of interesting facts about Downtown-area Nashville and delicious food!! The BBQ was my favorite! The owner Christine (was also our guide) and she was perfect. Very well spoken, super knowledgeable and a delight to spend a few hours with! There’s a little bit of walking but just enough to make you hungry at your next spot. And we love food tours that give you an adult beverage, super refreshing! We can’t wait to return to Nashville and try A Little Local Flavors’ new area tours!

My wife and I just took the Downtown Nashville Walking Food Tour with Christine offered by A Little Local Flavor. This was an absolutely wonderful experience. Christine took us to four different places and each place provided a truly tasty portion of what in total amounted to a great meal. From great pulled pork at Martin's BBQ to heavenly pecan pie at the newly restored Woolworth's all the food was wonderful. At Martin's we got to see how the smoke whole hogs. The stop at Woolworths provided some history about the desegregation of Nashville's lunch counters. At the Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar we heard wonderful music while eating great gumbo at a place we probably never would have tried if Christine had not taken us there. Christine's stories about the city gave us a much greater sense of the place we were visiting. She knows lots of people and as a result, everyone treated us so well. This was a wonderful way to spend a few hours in Nashville. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who likes good food and good stories.
