I highly recommend this tour for anyone visiting Santa Barbara as well as locals who have been here for years! I have been on this tour twice and both times had a blast! If you are a foodie like me and also enjoy walking around downtown, meeting new people then this tour will be right up your alley! I was born and raised in Santa Barbara and learned so many fun facts about the town that I had no idea about prior to the tour. I went on this tour toting my 4 month old baby with a bunch of my friends who also had babies. After making our reservation, the owner Evan, tailored the tour just for us to make sure that we weren't on our feet too much, but still got a little bit of exercise between stops. The amount of food that is you sample at each restaurant is the perfect size, not too big and not too small. The price for the tour was very reasonable compared to other food and drinking tours in the area. Every place we went to except for Persona pizza was somewhere that I hadn't been to before and were all delicious. Even at Persona we had two pizza's that were amazing and that I hadn't thought of trying before but am definitely hooked now. Grassini winery was one of my favorite stops and both times the customer service was outstanding and the wine pairing was on point. Our guide was very knowledgeable, funny and energetic which made the tour that much better. At each stop she would give the group some alone time to enjoy the food/drinks and come back and check in periodically in case you had any questions. It's nice to see a local business in town that is also promoting other small local businesses!

We had three couples doing the food tour and had a blast. There was a good variety of stops along the way. Our first stop was Renauds which was great-perhaps not on the first stop however because the treats were sweet. I loved the atmosphere of the Market, the noodle dish was super. There was some history (mainly at the beginning of the tour) and a small amount of walking. There was some fabulous popcorn (Santa Barbara Popcorn Company) at the first winery that was the best popcorn we've ever had. It was a jalapeƱo jack-so so good! Fun tour! We all left with full but not stuffed bellies.

It was my first time in Santa Barbara and my husband surprised me with a tour for our anniversary on our first day. We were only there for the weekend and I thought this tour covered enough of the downtown and surrounding area to where I felt I got to learn, see and/or taste a lot of the historical features, food and wine of Santa Barbara, It was just me and my husband so we got to know our guide very well. She was great. She has a great spirit to her and was very well informed about the area. Make sure you bring extra cash to tip...something my husband didn't prepare for :-/ Overall we had a great time, even in the rain. We even signed up for a wine club and look forward to receiving our first bottles of wine from the area in the Spring.
