Wine tasting at one of the wonderful tasting rooms in El Paseo! During COVID-19 we visit 5-6 different tasting locations (food from 6-7 local spots), which also includes 1 wine tasting room and an alcoholic beverage l at another location. Tastings and tasting locations are subject to change.

Santa Barbara County Courthouse

Visit the outside of the Courthouse and if there is time, The Sunken Gardens

Arlington Theatre

Learn about the history the The Arlington Theatre. We do NOT go inside the theatre.

The Granada Theatre

Learn about the history of The Granada Theatre. We do NOT go into the theatre.

The Historic La Arcada Courtyard

See and sometimes walk through the Plaza designed by famous Architect Myron Hunt.

As a resident of Santa Barbara I highly recommend this tour to try new things and meet fun people. Great balance of food, drinks, activity, history and relaxation. I didn't necessarily think all of these things could be combined in a tour but am pleasantly surprised to find that they can.

If coming to visit Santa Barbara or a local to the area Evan and her team combine the perfect blend of foodie fun, local knowledge and gorgeous sites downtown. I loved the destination stops and how organized but stress-free the tour is. The booking process is easy & effective, Evan contacts you to access your food preferences and anything you might be celebrating, the details on getting to the starting spot are easy for any traveler. We loved starting with dessert (what girl doesn't), stopping in at the Public Market, hitting La Arcada Plaza for margaritas, Cebada wine brought the Santa Barbara wine country to the tour, Cest Cheese made me excited about history and all things cheese-y, Persona Pizza is right by my office and had never tried it so it was completely new to me, and ending with McConnelle's ice cream hit the sweet tooth. Also many of the places offer a discount if you have done the tour and Evan offers great recommendations for other stops to hit in Santa Barbara! By far one of the best tours I have done to get to know a city! Would do it again with friends visiting the area.

After being gone for four years from my home town of Santa Barbara, you can only imagine how thrilled I am to return home to such a lovely place. It doesn't take too long to be here to notice how much has changed. I was presented the opportunity to go on this food tour and, as a lover of Santa Barbara and of good food, how could I say no? This was such a lovely way to no only re-introduce myself with familiar shops, but to find new hidden secrets that have popped up in the last couple years. I even learned some history I had not already known. From the personal touches of the tour guide as well as the restaurant owners/workers, to the other lovely people on the tour, so many things about this tour made it a wonderful experience. Thank you!!!
