Wine tasting at one of the wonderful tasting rooms in El Paseo! During COVID-19 we visit 5-6 different tasting locations (food from 6-7 local spots), which also includes 1 wine tasting room and an alcoholic beverage l at another location. Tastings and tasting locations are subject to change.

Santa Barbara County Courthouse

Visit the outside of the Courthouse and if there is time, The Sunken Gardens

Arlington Theatre

Learn about the history the The Arlington Theatre. We do NOT go inside the theatre.

The Granada Theatre

Learn about the history of The Granada Theatre. We do NOT go into the theatre.

The Historic La Arcada Courtyard

See and sometimes walk through the Plaza designed by famous Architect Myron Hunt.

First let me say, starting the tour with dessert is a dream come true for me! Dining backwards is a very clever idea and speaking of clever, and smart and entertaining, Evan our guide is just that. She is very knowledgeable about SB. She is well suited as a guide as she is a very warm and social person. Amazingly, the other "tourists" with us on our tour were also very friendly. I suppose that's what great food (no way to pick a favorite) and fun does to people! If you haven't been on Evan's tour of Santa Barabara. . .GO!

If you want to experience some of what downtown Santa Barbara has to offer, this is a great way to do it. We ate delicious food at each stop of the tour and the variety was amazing. This was my first food tour and I was unsure about how the different stops would compliment each other but it was perfect. Each restaurant had a little something different to offer and the wine tasting in the middle was a lot of fun. At the end to my surprise, I was full but not too full and had some new favorite restaurants to go back to. I would definitely recommend this tour to locals and visitors alike.

I had a great time on this tour and not only did we get to try some great food but we got to see and learn about parts of Santa Barbara that we hadn't experienced before. The tour guide (Evan) had great energy and she's very knowledgeable about the area and the restaurants that she took us to. I'd highly recommend this for a new date idea or to bring the whole family to or even for a company outing. I'll most definitely be doing another tour with Taste of Santa Barbara!
