Wine tasting at one of the wonderful tasting rooms in El Paseo! During COVID-19 we visit 5-6 different tasting locations (food from 6-7 local spots), which also includes 1 wine tasting room and an alcoholic beverage l at another location. Tastings and tasting locations are subject to change.

Santa Barbara County Courthouse

Visit the outside of the Courthouse and if there is time, The Sunken Gardens

Arlington Theatre

Learn about the history the The Arlington Theatre. We do NOT go inside the theatre.

The Granada Theatre

Learn about the history of The Granada Theatre. We do NOT go into the theatre.

See and sometimes walk through the Plaza designed by famous Architect Myron Hunt.

I can't say enough good things about this really fun, different and delicious food tour. After reading the previous reviews, I had very high expectations, and Erin certainly delivered. Even though we had been visitors to Santa Barbara for years, all of the restaurants were new to us. The sample picks were excellent. Erin was a wealth of information - about the history of the restaurants, as well as the history of Santa Barbara. It was like seeing the city with new eyes. The tour was seamless and Erin was delightful. The walking was easy and helpful after all that food! I am looking forward to going back and enjoying the restaurants and winery again. I was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience and would highly recommend it for locals and for out of towners. It was worth every penny. As an extra added bonus, we had perfect weather, but really, is the weather ever bad in Santa Barbara??

This is an excellent tasting of local specialties-my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed all of the places we sampled! Erin is very engaging as she covers the evolution of many of the local businesses as well as historical information of Santa Barbara. I highly recommend for those interested in learning about Santa Barbara and want to find the gems of local good eats off the beaten path.

My husband and I spent the day touring and eating with Erin. We loved every choice she selected and found it hard to decide upon a favorite. The lobster bisque from Enterprise Fish was the winner. But then again, the acai berry bowl from Backyard Bowls was awesome too! So were the tacos from Rudy's, the sheep cheese from C'est Cheese (gotta love that name), and the homemade pumpkin pie ice cream at McConnell's. So were the wines and the beers... Okay, did I say we loved it all? Each place had it's own charm, and we loved frequenting family owned establishments, hearing their stories and supporting them. Erin was delightful! We loved hearing her take on Santa Barbara, learning about its history and architecture. It is a great way to acquaint yourself with the area. We wish Erin success in this venture and urge you to join her and take this tour.
