We took this tour last Friday and really enjoyed it. Our guide was the lovely Erin and she did an excellent job. I found this fun thing to do on Trip Advisor (naturally). We were in town with Princess Cruises on one of their Pacific Coastal getaways. I thought the Princess excursions were too expensive and was looking for something a little different. It could not have been easier. The tender brought us from the ship to the marina (not Stearns Wharf but the marina). Literally, once you get off the tender and walk down the walkway which takes you to Cabrillo Street (runs parallel to the beach), follow the walkway to the street, there is a pedestrian walkway there that goes across Cabrillo, and the street that runs perpendicular is Bath. The starting point for the tour is on the corner of Bath and Montecito a few blocks up (Rudy's). Easy-peasy. From our starting point, we visited five different restaurants/food establishments with perfectly sized portions, a brewery to sample a couple of varieties of beer, and a winery. These places were chosen because they are owned locally, are a little off the beaten path (mostly) and the offerings are wonderfully delicious. We also got to hear about some local history. The weather happened to be perfect which added to the great experience. Erin really knew her stuff. The last tender from the marina back to the ship was at 4:00, our tour ended a little after 3:00, and we made it back to the marina easily and well within the time allotted. No worries. So, if you are coming into town with a limited time frame, looking for something fun to do, reasonably priced, good value for your money, an easy walk from location to location - do this. This is a fairly new business venture and you can tell that the owners have put the time and effort into making this a rewarding experience. I am in Santa Barbara from time to time on business and will definitely, absolutely go back to these places and will tell them I am a return visitor originally introduced by Savor Santa Barbara Food Tours. They deserve the credit. Thank you, Erin, and thank you, Trip Advisor.

This tour was fantastic! I've been on a number of food tours in other cities, I think it's the best way to get to know a new area and figure out where you'd like to return to later in your trip. Highly recommend you take this tour your first day or two in town so you'll know where to go the rest of your trip! I grew up in Santa Barbara but haven't been back since the 80's, so it was very fun to learn how much it's changed. The Funk Zone, who knew? We will definitely be back to explore this area further and I never would have known about if not for this tour. This is an easy walking tour. My very healthy 87 year old father was with us and he had no trouble keeping up. The food choices were eclectic and delicious and I can't wait to return to every one of them. I learned some new things about my hometown ( and was able to share some history with Erin). We were very impressed with her entrepreneurial spirit, she has really put in some shoe leather to ensure a quality experience. This tour was a great value, you will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful, FILLING day with Erin during Veteran' Day weekend! Our review is delayed (due to illness), but Erin deserves a great write-up for what she does! Her choices of eating paces to visit were well researched. Erin's knowledge of Santa Barbara history and culture make her the perfect foodie/tour guide! I'm not keen on history but I really enjoyed listening to Erin and truly admired her ability of presenting historical facts in a most enjoyable way. That day was clear and crisp (rained the nite before) so the brisk walking was another added pleasure. Our favorite stop was the Arch Rock Fish! That salmon was truly the best prepared and presented! Thank you, Erin, for an awesome time! You are the best and you'll probably see us again!
