I had such an amazing experience joining the Taste Santa Barbara food tour. Each location we visited was unique in their own way and a variety of food was exceptional. My favorite place along the tour would be hard to decipher although I did really enjoy starting the tour off with dessert at Renaudsā€™s patisserie and bistro. šŸ˜Š Our tour guide, Diane, was very knowable and informed on all things Santa Barbara. Having just relocated to the area this was a great was for me to find a few of my very own favorite places that I can now frequent. Thanks again SB food tour!

If you're an out-of-towner and looking for great food, a little history of Santa Barbara and to discover some secret hideaway spots downtown --this tour was created for you! We enjoyed a plethora of delicious foods, learned appetizers of interesting facts about Montecito and the Santa Barbara area, and soaked in the sun while walking on State Street and side streets in the area. The tour guide was a local so she could answer any questions the group had; the restaurant and shop owners were welcoming; and even though I attended solo I felt like I was a part of the group experience. Would highly recommend to everyone to learn more of what Santa Barbara has to offer.

I went on my downtown food tour last Friday with the guide Diane. This food tour is a great value and a wonderful leisurely way to learn about the history of Santa Barbara. The tour took us on six food and beverage stops. The food was plentiful, and there was plenty of variety, everything from macarons to tacos to chocolate paired with wine. Our guide Diane was great. She's lived in Santa Barbara for a long time and it showed in her knowledge of the city and surrounding area. She also had a great grasp of when to move the group along, when to let us linger a bit, and when to leave us alone to socalize. Not only is the tour a great way to explore Santa Barbara's food and restaurant culture but to learn a little bit of Santa Barbara history. I would recommend wearing comfortable shoes and layers (the weather in Santa Barbara can be fickle).
