Wine tasting at one of the wonderful tasting rooms in El Paseo! During COVID-19 we visit 5-6 different tasting locations (food from 6-7 local spots), which also includes 1 wine tasting room and an alcoholic beverage l at another location. Tastings and tasting locations are subject to change.

Santa Barbara County Courthouse

Visit the outside of the Courthouse and if there is time, The Sunken Gardens

Arlington Theatre

Learn about the history the The Arlington Theatre. We do NOT go inside the theatre.

The Granada Theatre

Learn about the history of The Granada Theatre. We do NOT go into the theatre.

The Historic La Arcada Courtyard

See and sometimes walk through the Plaza designed by famous Architect Myron Hunt.

Awesome! Diane, a long time Santa Barbara native, was a fantastic guide. I went on the tour with my husband, brother-in-law and sister-in-law and we all had a great time learning new things and eating at cool local places. I was very impressed with the tour. What a fun way to see and learn about the town. We visited a variety of places and the food was great. Diane was very knowledgeable and happy to accommodate special diet requests. This was the highlight of our visit !

Had Evan set up a private tour for 12 of us - combining great food, wine, meeting chefs and wine makers, and a good dose of SB history. She worked closely with us on the agenda we wanted and what she felt were the best places to go to accommodate our interests. We were introduced to a number of places that normally we wouldn't have found on our own. Was an excellent way to spend an afternoon and take in the best of SB. Highly recommend connecting with Evan/SBFT and getting on this tour. You won't be disappointed!

My sisters and I are all born and raised in Santa Barbara. We wanted to spend some time together experiencing something out of the ordinary lunch date. Taste of the Town food tour turned out to be a wonderful afternoon. A huge variety of delicious food tastings interspersed with wine, horchata and beer. Our guide Brittany was enthusiastic and vivacious and knew so many fun and interesting facts about Santa Barbara's food, history and culture. We even learned a few new things about our hometown. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun way to explore Santa Barbara's beautiful downtown and amazing local food.
