Our guide Wayne was very knowledgeable. He also was great at taking pictures of us. Simpson tours at Monnument Valley did a great job. The meal and show at end was the best.

Nice tour through the main section of Monument Valley, including areas only accessible with the guided tours. This part of the tour was great, and the real reason to book the tour. The open vehicle was nice, but did require a minimal climb to get into your seat. Seat belts were available. Views of the area while driving were very nicely seen from the vehicle. After viewing the monuments, the traditional Navajo taco was offered and was just OK. The fry bread had been made earlier, and a piece of flank steak cooked on a fire was tasty, but quite chewy and difficult to cut with the plastic utensils. Water and sodas were available, but not cold which would have been nice after the ride in the open vehicle. An interesting gentleman, Howard was his name I believe, presented some interesting information. However, his speech went on for nearly an hour, and really could have been compressed into about 20 minutes. A brief presentation of Navajo singing and a single male dancer was well done, and the time involved was just about right. Overall, we enjoyed the tour for the beautiful monuments and the late day light was fantastic. The guide told us the names of some of the towering monuments, and I would have liked some more historical information about early life in the valley. The food and cultural presentation was average, and could be improved with keeping the food warmer, the drinks colder, and the verbal presentation could be condensed to keep everyone interested.

A few weeks ago we finally took our trip that we initially scheduled in 2019, postponed bc of Covid, covering Arizona, Utah and Nevada. This evening was what I was looking forward to most the entire waiting period and it did not disappoint. I knew what to expect with the Grand Canyon, Zion, etc (all amazing) but I was unfamiliar with Monument Valley and feel like I was introduced to it in the best way possible. Cody, our tour guide was a wonderful teacher and had the best information about the Valley and the beautiful people that live there. The scenery was breathtaking. We had several stops along the way to be able to take it in featuring flute playing and singing from the guides. A beautiful evening capped off with a lovely outdoor dinner, stories, traditional dance and a backdrop like no other. Overall it felt magical. I can't stop thinking about it and would recommend this excursion to everyone. Can't wait to go back.
