The Monument's beauty is amazing. Our guide, Jamie, was fabulous. We really enjoyed his stories, local knowledge, and flute playing. The dinner, story telling, and dancing were also great. So pleased we booked this tour.

This tour was a wonderful one. Our guide Jamie is a Navajo Indian. We had an authentic presentation of the beliefs and ways of the Navajo people by a presenter, Harold also a Navajo Indian. Jamie did Navajo dances in traditional Navajo dress. We had dinner by a campfire which was excellent. We had a fully immersed tour of the monument. We were a party of 11 family members ranging from age 5 to age 82 and this tour met all of our needs. I strongly recommend this tour.

Although the Monuments were breathtaking and good photo ops, the total experience was a Flop. The took us on an open car with 45-50 MPH winds so strong we were eating dirt all the way! I finally requested to sit in the truck cab because my eyes got full of sand. I wear contact lenses, even with sunglasses on. The ā€œsteak dinner was terrible to say the least: overcooked cheap steak on top of fry bread with lettuce & tomatoes and a soda. We had to eat on dirty tables. The entertainment was disappointing to say the least. An old white guy telling stories for 20 minutes, one dancer/chauffeur sprinting around the tiny fire, and surly folks who served us. UUGH! I know you cannot control the wind, but what about a closed van as an option in bad weather? It was so windy we could not stay outside to look at the stars! Overall, a very pricey $600 for 16 hours and a very long 10-hour round trip!!! And this did not cover the cost of gas or food. Just the tour and cabin. Never again.
