My husband and I took the Local Guide to the San Diego Sights Tour two weeks ago. We both had been to San Diego before to visit relatives but we really didn't do any sightseeing as part of those previous trips. First of all this self guided GPS tour is very easy to use. It covers a lot of ground that one would probably not have figured out how to cover on one's own. The sights included are scenic, cultural and historical. We both learned so much especially regarding the historical origins of the city from the Spanish explorers to development of the military bases, etc, and how its history has shaped modern day San Diego. There are even recommendations of where to eat along the route that are the tour operators own personal favorites. I highly recommend this tour as a great, self guided option to learning about this beautiful city. Enjoy!!

I loved that didn't need a tour guide, so I could easily stop where I wanted along the drive - Lunched at El Indio and stopped to walk at Presidio Park and at Windansea Beach. As a local and history buff, I was surprised by all learned about San Diego.. Definitely recommend it!

Super cool GPS tech…we got to wind our way through the best of San Diego. Made several stops along our journey and had lunch in the Gaslamp. I recommend it for both SoCal natives or those visiting – fun to be entertained and learn along the way!
