On this tour, you’ll explore the early community of Al Tahoe, the Tallac Historic Site, and view three early Tahoe summer homes. The tour continues with optional hikes to Vikingsholm at Emerald Bay, Eagle Falls, and Eagle Rock. Enjoy the picturesque splendor of Lake Tahoe and its surrounding snow-capped mountains as you drive, along the way hearing stories about:

This was a self guided driving tour around Lake Tahoe. It was supposed to be a tour using gps as you drive. the gps worked for the first to location then it stopped working. The information was good and fun to listen to but much of it was not at the proper location. Tried to restart the program but nothing worked.

These tours are extremely informative, easy on the ears and are very well done. I am thrilled to have been turned on to these audio tours, they make exploring these areas that much more enjoyable.

What did we ever do before guided tours... use a map?! Unnecessary! The driving directions included on this series of tours were thoughtful and basically dummy proof for someone "directionally challenged" like myself. Can't recommend this Tahoe loop enough!
