"Drink sir, is a great provoker..."

The stage is set in a hidden venue. Five professional actors meet as members of The Drunk Shakespeare Society. One of them has 5 shots of whiskey and then attempts to perform a major role in a Shakespearean play. Hilarity and mayhem ensue while the four sober actors try and keep the script on track. Every show is different depending on who is drinking... and what they're drinking!

Craft cocktails and food are served throughout the show. Running time is 90 minutes with no intermission. Drunk Shakespeare is on a limited run so get your tickets today! Entry is strictly 21+, photo ID and proof of COVID vaccination is required at the door.

We had the delight of watching MacBeth performed by the Drunk Shakespeare Society at LOL Comedy Club in Manhattan on 2/29/2020. We attended the 10pm show and won the auction to be king and queen! The five actors involved were all incredibly talented and SO much fun! If you love to laugh, this is definitely a show to hit up when you are in Manhattan!

We managed to catch a show when everything else we were planning on seeing had been cancelled due to Covid-19. This show was a balm to the sting of missing some Broadway shows and museums. My husband and I were laughing to the point of tears. We plan to come back and see this again and again.

Even amidst all the jokes, when they did straight Shakespeare, it was incredible! Great group of actors, so well done. Loved it!!!!!
