This was worth every penny and is a must if in NY. Check your inhibitions at the door, and don’t come with your parents (a lot of expletives and sexual innuendoes). Pre-show drinks were typical price for New York, but they were nice and strong. The night we went, audience ages ranged from 21 (that girl’s birthday) to mid-80s. The intimate setting ensures that every seat is a great one. It was so much fun and so hilarious; I didn’t know my wife could laugh for 90 minutes straight. I didn’t get any that night because my wife’s ribs hurt from laughing so much. Still worth it, though.

The only Shakespeare I know is Romeo and Juliet, but that didn't stop me from seeing DRUNK SHAKESPEARE! You didn't need to know even one word of the famed writer's masterpieces! This show was hysterical from the get go! Alcohol infused actors did a mighty fine job with audience participation. An unusual type of setting makes this Off Broadway show a must see. I see A LOT of shows in NYC and this is is by far one of the top 2 FUNNIEST I have ever seen! Price of ticket includes your own shot of alcohol!

On a girls weekend in NYC, we saw Come From Away, Beetlejuice and Drunk Shakespeare. Drunk Shakespeare was my favorite! Even my friends, who aren't huge Shakespeare fans, loved it. Cast was hilarious, and quick to improvise. It's e remarkably talented group. Don't be put off by the sketchy looking entrance. It's worth it!
