The stage is set in a hidden venue. Five professional actors meet as members of The Drunk Shakespeare Society. One of them has 5 shots of whiskey and then attempts to perform a major role in a Shakespearean play. Hilarity and mayhem ensue while the four sober actors try and keep the script on track. Every show is different depending on who is drinking... and what they're drinking!

Craft cocktails and food are served throughout the show. Running time is 90 minutes with no intermission. Drunk Shakespeare is on a limited run so get your tickets today! Entry is strictly 21+, photo ID and proof of COVID vaccination is required at the door.

We had a delightful evening with the cast of drunk Shakespeare. An extremely talented cast brought a gut busting performance with the perfect amount of audience participation. Don't hesitate to be make this a priority while in NYC. Josh was so kind to chat with us and answer all of our questions after the show. I will definitely be seeing this while in Chicago as well.

Whe you arrive you climb a flight of stairs that reminded me of a tenement bulding in a horror film. When you arrive at the top (yes you can take an elevator) You are greated by a bawdy, witty group who conduct a raucous night of silly mixed with a group of players obviously all having a backround and love of The Bard. Climb the stairs, have a drink and get ready for a night of wild and raunchy night that is a mix of Clue, a college kegger, and a night at The Rose. Bravo ladies and gentlemen

Engaging cast - the fun begins before the show starts as they do a lot of crowd work and get to know you before the performance. Lots of pop culture references and accessible laughs, but also fun if you know a little Shakespeare going into it. Great way to spend a couple hours in the city.
