My partner and I went to the 8pm show on a Friday night. We bought our tickets online through the main site, but there's a number of coupon codes out there to look for (we used Playbill's). Definitely should eat beforehand, as there's no food there; you are provided a free shot upon entrance, however.
The venue is small and cozy, and surrounded by books. The performers were all very friendly, making small talk and getting to know the audience before the show (or, if you're a bit more cynical, scoping out who would be good people to pull in for the minor bits of audience participation). The acoustics travel fairly well in the room, and there's really not a bad seat in the place.
The show itself does get a bit crass at times. The performers are all quick-witted, with various points of order to mix up the show here and there (for instance, one of the performers had to imitate a famous person or cartoon for every new scene; we saw him be Liam Neeson, Kermit the Frog, etc.). The show will also stray political here and there, depending on the performers. Each performer got a chance to shine, be it through points of order giving them a reason to go beyond the standard Macbeth performance or just through having a larger part.
Overall, the show was hilarious. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I'd gladly go again, though I would prefer to see another Shakespeare play just to mix it up even more (which is not to disparage the choice of Macbeth; they performed it brilliantly. I just want another excuse to go back!)
