Six local women decided to play tourist in our own backyard! Even though we have all driven up and down Massachusetts Avenue (Embassy Row) countless times, we had never observed much of the detail that our fabulous tour guide, Carolyn, shared with us. We saw embassies and other notable buildings with new appreciation and learned interesting historical background. Most of us had never been on the streets of the beautiful Kalorama neighborhood that Carolyn showed us. What a treat! Each and every one of us thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon and look forward to booking another tour with DC Design Tours and recommending them to friends and guests.

We spent a fabulous afternoon walking through Dupont Circle and down Embassy Row looking at homes owned by luminaries from Alice Longworth Rockefeller to Jeff Bezos. Our guide, a trained architect, was endlessly entertaining and informative, not only full of information but clearly seasoned with an understanding of and love for history. It was truly an exceptional experience.
