We did the Lower Animas rafting trip and had a blast. Our guide, Shay, was fun and great with our 9 & 12 year olds. Being the end of July, the river was low, so it was mostly a relaxing float down the river with a few rapids, nice for our mostly inexperienced family. We also had the chance to swim along the way. Super fun and would definitely use this company again in the future.

We had the best experience rafting. It was so much fun for the whole family. The staff were all so helpful and fun. Our guide during the rafting adventure was amazing. We would definitely do this again.

The entire crew at Mountain Waters Rafting was excellent. We started the morning on the Silverton train, and ended with a rainy but extremely fun rafting trip. We had a huge group, with kids from age 10-16, and many adults. The crew kept the check in process fast and easy. Special shout outs to Jack and Hannah for keeping our 2 crazy teen rafts laughing and engaged the entire trip. Also a special shout out to Lillian who kept our raft from getting stuck and kept us moving down the River. We would come back and do more excursions with this company anytime and would highly recommend to all seeking fun in Durango.
