Could not have received a better experience. Our guide, Zach, and the whole guide team (even our driver Jacob) led by Spicy Mike were so great. Zach kept us laughing the whole time while making us feel right at home on the water. Zach’s personality, jokes, and personal take on the Durango lifestyle and history were awesome. He even got our teenagers engaged and laughing! All of that plus knowing his way around the river made a perfect afternoon. Highly recommend Zach and Mountain Waters Rafting.

FANTASTIC experience. We got lucky with lots of rain last night, and the river was flowing nicely! A variety of rapids from floating to class 3’s. Our guide was Arissa. She was knowledgeable, highly experienced, super chill vibe and super sweet. Best smile ever! My two teenage children (14 & 16) had a blast. Great family adventure.. Check-in to end of day check-out, everyone was very professional and had safety top of mind. I highly recommend them for your rafting adventure!!! I will definitely do it again!

It has been 3 days of substantially higher river levels thanks to the afternoon showers we call monsoons. It is a well deserved bonus from mother nature for the crew who have seen the river reach quite low levels. The forecast is for this to continue for a while so enjoy the bonus water! This was an awesome experience for our family. Our kids 11, 13 and 16 all had an amazing time. Eric was great at talking us through exactly what we needed to to do have a good time and stay safe. It was a perfect morning in Durango.
