Our family of 7 had a wonderful time rafting the Animas River. We had been concerned about the water level being too low, but it was just right for our kids (ages 7-16). “Spicy Mike,” our guide, was very knowledgeable about the area, wonderful at navigating the river, and a pro at making sure everyone felt involved & had fun! It was great to work together and play together. A huge thank you to Spicy Mike & the whole MWR team for the fun & memories.

Today was a great day. There was 4 other boats with us floating down and Jesse was a pro guide. Seems like he really knew what he was doing and was hella fun to adventure with. Would do again.

Twas a wonderful four hours. Admittedly, the water was low, so the rapids were not especially challenging. Nevertheless, we had the best time with balancing on the raft’s edge, water fights with other boats. Eddie, our guide, had the idea of rowing hard straight at the sloping rocks with the hope of getting airborne. We made it though it wasn’t pretty. The rafts are made for safety and reliability rather than aerodynamics. We hope to try again someday.

Maybe if we inflated the rafts with helium we could achieve a bit more lift. I've always wanted to try that. Thank you for the review!
