This is the 3rd time we have been on this river and the highest cfs yet. I was nervous about taking the kids on class 3 Rapids and watched the water levels daily for the last month wondering if we should go with almost 3,000 cfs or not. Our guide Monica was amazing! Honestly, I felt every guide there was extremely competent. Our experience was safe, comfortable, and entertaining! We had a fantastic experience and enjoyed every second. Thank you Mountain Waters Rafting for a memorable day.

This was our first time as a family river rafting. Rebecca was amazing with our family. It is hard to keep teenagers engaged and this excursion did it! It was affordable for a family of five. Everyone from the team checking us in to picking us up off the river made it fun and seem less.

Staff and guides are very knowledgeable and experienced. They really try hard to make you feel safe and comfortable with your experience. Lucas was the perfect guide for our half day trip down the river. His safety talk on the bus ride over had us belly laughing the entire time. Likewise, while traveling down the river he explained and pointed out local sights and history of Durango. If you are looking for the best rafting company in Durango, this is it!
