We just did the tour with Ron today! It was just my husband and myself. Celebrating our 37th anniversary, which tells you we arenā€™t young. But the bikes were so easy to get around on. Ron was so knowledgeable of all the places. He showed us the great history of the island. He was awesome. The bikes were so fun to ride on! This was the way to go. It was fun, entertaining and informative. If looking for something to do while on the island this is it. All the guys in the shop were so friendly and fun!!!

We recently went on a 2-hour guided tour with Rob at Zipp E-Bikes and absolutely loved it! It was just me & my husband (both soon-to-be 40), so we could handle the adventure side of this tour (bumps, navigating intersections, working the bikes, etc.). They provide helmets and a quick overview of how the bikes work. We wore sunscreen, as thereā€™s a lot of sun (we toured from 3-5pm). Even with the area being under a Heat Advisory, we stayed cool while moving. Just the brief stops got warm, but shade provided relief. The tour was perfectly balanced between interesting stops at places we have never been - historical homes, Jean Lafitteā€™s land, museums, monuments, etc. and open riding on the bikes. To get to these stops, we could really move, as the bikes went 15-20mph. We rode along the Seawall, which brought a great breeze, and fun scenery! Rob, our guide, was informative and FUN! He knows the history of the island, and clearly loves people and the bikes. He was very good with keeping us with him and stopping for water when needed. We both loved every second of this tour!

Loved this. My 1st time on pedal assist bike. I did the 2hr tour so I can have someone coach me and learn to use this bike. So fun. Wasnā€™t hot because youā€™ll have a breezy experience on the bike. By end of 2 hrs I was a pro!!! Rob was the tour leader. Awesome. I know Galveston fairly well but learned lots and went to great historic out of the way spots. He was very patient with me learning the bike. I was very tentative to begin with. We were almost finished when I realized I had dropped my phone somewhere along the route. He was very kind and we backtracked the whole tour and finally found my phone. So gracious. I feel confident to rent a bike now in my city and to teach my husband. Super experience!!!
