My son, daughter and I rented 3 bikes for 4 hours and had the time of our lives exploring the island. We cruised to the beach, played in the dunes, explored the historic streets and homes and had a great family time together. The bikes were top notch and easy to operate. Folks at the shop were super helpful and friendly. Can’t recommend this experience enough. Do it!

Rented a RadCity E-bike for two hours today. The price was $35.00 for two hours. Everyone in this shop was wonderful. The owner and employees were really great. I was very curious about the different types of e-bikes and they were more than happy to spend the time with me answering questions. They also showed me their personal e-bikes. Even the customers (locals) were very friendly and willing to talk about their bikes. So, enough about the shop. After a brief familiarization with the bike and controls I was off and riding. The bike was so much fun I had to ride it back to the condo and show my wife, son and friends. Everyone took a brief test drive and then off I went. The bike has traditional gears for total manual operation with no e-assist. It also can be ridden with no pedaling if needed. The best of both world is pedal assist. You give a push on the pedals and the e-assist kicks in and off you roll. With minimal effort pedaling, I was able to maintain a consistent 20 mph. This was done on the street. While going down the Seawall I kept it at about 5 mph. If you want to have some fun riding around the island try the e-bikes.

My husband and I are seniors who took a tour with Seth the owner. It was fantastic! The bikes are easy and really fun to use. Seth was a great tour guide taking us to both the beach and historical section of town. He has a wealth of information and is very knowledgeable about Galveston’s history. We plan to have our adult kids go on the tour this summer. This tour is a must for visitors of all ages.
