Super fun. The tour guide Aaron was accommodating and made it fun. He is very knowledgeable on the history of Galveston. We all had s good time. The bikes are a great way to to tour the island.

The E-Bike Island Adventure Tour lived up to its consistently good reviews. My husband and I went on a day trip from Houston on a summer Thursday morning. We were the only ones on the 2 hour tour with Aaron, who seems to be the main tour guide. He will tailor the tour topics, pace, and route depending on your interests. His range can include history, architecture, pirates, street art, hurricane tales, seawall beach cruising and more. The shop is in the historic district and a block from The Strand, with easy parking, lots to do, and great restaurants within walking distance for right after the tour. This was our first time on e-bikes so we were nervous, but we found them to be easy to use from the get-go, comfortable, and effortless. You can peddle as much or as little as you want. There was little traffic downtown midweek so we felt safe on the streets with no trouble getting around. After the tour we lunched at Old Moon deli (excellent, with fun eclectic art, but there are endless eatery choices), visited the Galveston Bookshop (great sci-fi collection, among other categories), and then stopped for fresh shrimp to bring home from the docks on Harborside - all within walking distance. Aaron, who was a fountain of info during the tour, lives in the area and is also a great resource for post-tour ideas. I highly recommend the e-bike tour for anyone wanting to explore a little more of Galveston beyond just a beach + restaurant day trip. We heard that if you go on Wednesday, the community garden's farmers market is open for organic produce and eggs - ask Aaron if you are interested. I plan to take some friends down for another bike tour, and maybe do the self-guided city tour of painted sea turtle sculptures and Ike trees (wood carvings of tree trunks left after the devastating Hurricane Ike in 2008).

While visiting Galveston, TX we were looking for tours and came upon an ad for E-bike adventures. We have never really riden e-bikes so I was a little skeptical. We arrived early as Aaron was just opening the store. He told us to come on into the nice cool shop and pick a helmet. There were 4 others in our group so a nice small group of 6 plus Aaron. He showed us all about the bikes and started us all off slow so we could get comfortable. Then we were off! Aaron took us all over Historic Galveston neighborhoods stopping occasionally to tell a story. He took us out on a jetty so we could have a nice photo of near the Pleasure Pier. I truely loved every bit of our tour. It was a 2 hour tour but I could have gone longer hearing and seeing this beautiful island! I highly recommend this tour! Aaron was the best!!
