This is a walking tour. While there are stops along the way, guests should be able to walk at a moderate pace without difficulty.
You are required to go through airport-style security on this tour. No luggage, weapons, or food (except for water in a clear container) is allowed. Confiscated items will not be returned.

My wife, daughter and I took a tour of the Statue of liberty and Ellis Island with Uncle Jeffrey. Uncle Jeffrey is like the history teacher you wish you could have had in high school. He was interesting, informative, a wealth of knowledgeable and he genuinely cared about the subject he was speaking about. Uncle Jeffrey's personal stories and recollections along with his songs and various voices brought history to life. If you are going to take a tour, this is the one to take.

Dan is a superb tour guide. Quite interactive with the group and very knowledgeable. Well worth the money. Definitely go with the earliest tour available to experience a lighter crowd. We went with the 8:30 am tour. By 10 am the crowd was thick. Only possible negative was the lack of signage at the meeting point. Otherwise AWESOME!
