Begin your day at The Battery (formerly known as Battery Park). This historical landmark is the gateway between lower Manhattan and the small island in the midst of New York Bay - and of course, Lady Liberty.

Castle Clinton National Monument

Pause at Castle Clinton, a national monument, and for your guide to lay the context of your tour ahead.

Liberty Island

Board the ferry and set sail through the open waters and take in the incredible views of New York Bay as you head for Liberty Island with your local tour guide.

Statue of Liberty

Delve deep into the story of how Lady Liberty started in France and came to America. As you tour the island, your expert guide shares incredible historical facts of this greatest of American icons. If you choose the two-hour Statue of Liberty Express Tour option, your guided tour ends here. Opt to explore the Statue of Liberty Museum and Ellis Island on your own or board the return ferry back with your guide.

Ellis Island Immigration Museum

If you choose the four-four Fully Guided Statue of Liberty Tour with Ellis Island option, board the ferry for a short 10 minute boat ride to Ellis Island. Discover the stories of the millions of immigrants who journeyed through this historic site. Wander at your leisure with the award-winning Audio Guide (included). You can peruse the museum, dive into your own family history, or enjoy a bite at the Island’s popular cafeteria. You are also welcome to return on the ferry with your guide.

Battery Park

Enjoy free time on Ellis Island or join your guide on the ferry back to Battery Park, taking one last look of Lady Liberty from the water.

This tour was on our trip 'to do' list. The meeting location was easy to find. Our tour guide is a life long NYC resident. His knowledge of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island and NYC enabled us to totally enjoy this tour. Our guide was funny, engaging and made sure we were full participants.

We are very glad you found the guide entertaining and received interesting information. At the same time though we are also very sorry Ellis Island wasn't as interesting as you expected and believe it would have been the same had you gone alone. But would have you learned the same interesting facts you refer to? Probably not. Finally, we run more than one group for this tour, but we are indeed the only tour groups there, which makes it much more intimate and far less crowded than during regular visiting hours. We are sorry you did not perceive this value. We work very hard to offer only the most memorable experiences to our clients and feel terrible your expectations were not met by our tour.
