This 90 minute personally guided tour will allow you to enjoy the early morning quiet at this world famous bridge. Perfect for early risers (or those of us adjusting to the time zone change) You will hear stories and see photos of the construction of the Golden Gate Bridge over 85 years ago while exploring areas around and underneath the bridge. We'll share with you the experiences workers of the bridge had to endure and share the best vista points for gorgeous photos! If there is time, your guide will share with you the Pilots Row neighborhood across the street from the Golden Gate Bridge with classic homes built for Officers families over 100 years ago. Join us!

What To Expect

Golden Gate Bridge

Early morning is the best time to visit the Golden Gate Bridge! Without lots of people around, there is less noise (although a bit more cold) and a chance to see more of the bridge's amazing structure and views. If we're lucky, Goldie might also be playing her foghorns- ok then, it may not be so quiet! Our 90 min walking tour of the Golden Gate Bridge will start with it's history over the past 85 years sharing stories and historic photos as well as a walk around and under the bridge. We'll also have some great stops to take some amazing photos! We'll meet at the flagpole near the Roundhouse Cafe, and tour the areas on both the west and east side of the plaza. If there is time, I will share with you my neighborhood called Pilot's row, which is literally across the street from the Golden Gate Bridge.
