What To Expect

East Glacier Park

Enjoy a brief stop at the historic East Glacier Park Lodge.

Two Medicine Lake

Enjoy time in Two Medicine- opt for a short (unguided) hike to see waterfalls, or spend time meandering around the lake. This is a perfect stop for lunch.

Saint Mary Visitor Center

We can offer an additional stop at Saint Mary's Visitor Center. Please note this will involve more driving.

We did the half day Glacier tour to Polebridge with the ebike add-on to Bowman Lake. It was great. We visited a new part of the park. Polebridge Mercantile is a blast from the past and the huckleberry bear claws are yummy. Our Whitefish Guide, Forest, was great. He was very knowledgable, easy to talk to, share so many interesting stories about the area, the park, the wildlife, the rivers/mountains. He also took us on a short hike to a 270 vista of the West side mountains and the Flathead river valley. He even got our 15 year old son talking. My teenagers were skeptical about riding around in the car for half a day but both really enjoyed the tour. I recommend the ebike add-on. We had never ebiked so it was an adventure. Bowman Lake was beautiful and is a challenge to access via car unless you are willing to get up really early and drive 20+ miles on dirt roads. Bikes are always welcome even if the parking lot is full so we just ebiked in from Polebridge (about 10 miles).

We had an absolutely wonderful time with our guide, Aaron! He was so knowledgeable about the area and fun to be with. Having someone drive us through the park so our entire family could enjoy the trip was perfect - our entire family of 11 was able to ride together instead of separate cars - and no one had to drive or focus on the road. We HIGHLY recommend the private tours. Whitefish and A-Aron were fantastic!

We had a fabulous trip to Glacier National Park with Whitefish Outfitters & Tours. Jess customized a fun half day experience for my group. She was so easy to work with and had great ideas. Larry was our tour guide and took us to the Hungry Horse Dam and National Park. He is full of knowledge and fun facts!! Our group loved the park and his stories! We finished the day at the Sacred Waters Brewery for lunch and brews. Couldn't recommend Whitefish Outfitters & Tours more!!
