East Village Haunted Manhattan tour

Overview
Haunted Manhattan offers the most accurate—and FUN—ghost tours in the city!

On our East Village tour, a secret underworld of ghosts and ghouls reveals itself as you’re guided past 13 haunted stops by the clever, witty, and endlessly entertaining Frankie, a bartender who’s used to dealing with patrons who just don’t want to heed Last Call. From the ghost train at the Astor Place subway stop, to haunted screams in the night on Bond Street, to a cellar where one of America's greatest writers might still be sipping on some amontillado, you’ll see both landmarks and dive bars that make the East Village the legend that it is—and hear the stories of the spirits that call this area home.

A historical, hilarious, and completely hair-raising experience, Haunted Manhattan will show you the greatest city there is, like you’ve never seen it before.

We do Haunted/Ghost Walks in every city we visit as it is a different way to discover a city and its history. We did the East Village tour with Frankie. She is, by far, the most entertaining ghost tour guide we had, ever. The tour in itself is fun for the entire family. We have one teenager that does not particularly like ghost tours, but despite this, she was truly entertained by this one, because of Frankie’s engagement. Kudos to all the team at Haunted Manhattan!

We had an amazing time with Frankie, the hilarious bartender! Brought my often hard to please 17 year old nephew and he ended up loving it so much! Great stories, but even better engagement from our guide. It was pouring rain, but our fearless leaded soldiered through and the storm really added to the creepiness! Such a fun and easy way to learn more about NYC. We did the East Village tour- can't wait to do the rest!! 100% recommend!!

I joined a group for Professor Mortimer's Greenwich Village tour. We all had a great group outing and heard some excellent ghost stories. He is an engaging tour guide and had a wonderful banter going with us all. If you're looking for a fun tour with great locations, fun and spooky stories, and a fantastic tour guide, definitely take this tour with the Professor. I'm excited to try his other tours too!
