East Zion Experiences 4-Hour Slot Canyon Canyoneering UTV Tour

Overview

Travel in Off Road ATV's to the base of a little known slot canyon called Coal Hollow Slot Canyon. After a short 1/2 mile but steep hike we will arrive at the first of 6 to 7 rappels. We provide all the equipment we will need for this amazing opportunity to rappel into a slot canyon. We will spend around an hour navigating through this Amazing place.

What a great experience we had with East Zion Experiences! We found them doing an Internet search and booked a next day 4 hour slot canyon adventure in the afternoon. When we arrived it turned out we were the only ones signed up so we had the flexibility of a private tour. Our tour guide, Noah, was phenomenal! Young and energetic, and very personable— he really made it the perfect afternoon. He did a great job of also showing us different plants and natural features as we went along. The adventure began with a UTV ride to get to BLM land. From there, Noah provided waters and we had a short hike to get to our first rappel. It had been a few years since I had done any rappelling and Noah was great about reviewing the process and getting us started. We backed off the first wall into the slot canyon, which at that point was only about 6’ deep or so. As we kept going we got deeper into the slot canyon and the shade made it more bearable. I lost track but I think in total we did 4 longer rappels and 2 short ones (Noah gave us the option of doing one longer rappel in place of 2 more short ones and we leapt at the chance). Noah took a ton of photos and air dropped them to me back at the shop. What a fantastic adventure! Highly recommend.
