Iām really bummed about this tour :/.
I had one night in Zion and was SOOOO excited to be somewhere for the sunset. I looked specifically for a tour that emphasized sunset. The timing of the ride lead to no sunset, we got to the peak probably 45 minutes before sunset (it was still maximum daylight and bright sunlight shining at you). Once at the end of the tour back at the stable you could see some colors peaking through the mountains, however no where near anywhere for a view of it. I wish I didnāt go on it and did a self guided sunset tour on my own.
The tour guides seemed to not enjoy their jobs and acted like they didnāt want to be there. It felt like we bothered them by even being on the tour, it was uncomfortable. Which stinks, as every other experience we had in Utah the guides are what made the tour extra special.
If youāre signing up for this because of the āsunsetā Iād recommend you pass. If you have young kids who are excited about being on a horse- this may be for you! Otherwise itās a less than exciting path you take around the back of a resort property.
