eBike Rainforest Experience

Overview

After a 9 mile narrated van ride to the north end of Douglas Island and a short training session, guests start e-biking. After riding along the shoreline on a paved dedicated bike lane taking in fresh ocean breezes and stunning views of the largest national forest in America. The tour takes you on a short walk down an old growth Forrest path to a secluded beach offering amazing photo opportunities.

A group of six of us had a great e-bike trip today with our guides Seoni and Phoenix. Their primary focus was on safety especially with a group that didn’t have e-bike experience and many of us hadn’t been on bikes in a very long time. Seoni’s knowledge of the plants etc. was excellent and he communicated it in a very anyway. Phoenix did a great job keeping the overall group of 11 organized. Thank you Seoni and Phoenix for a wonderful afternoon!

What a fun, beautiful ride. The guides, Carly & Phoenix were sweet, knowledgeable (patient) and helpful. We did a short hike through the rainforest as well, with lots of local info! Had a wonderful time!
