eBike Rainforest Experience

Overview

After a 9 mile narrated van ride to the north end of Douglas Island and a short training session, guests start e-biking. After riding along the shoreline on a paved dedicated bike lane taking in fresh ocean breezes and stunning views of the largest national forest in America. The tour takes you on a short walk down an old growth Forrest path to a secluded beach offering amazing photo opportunities.

For me, this was 5/5. We lucked out with the weather and the views were absolutely beautiful. Our guide, Phoenix was fantastic. I never used an e-bike before but it was fun. We stopped at several spots for pictures and then took a walk through the rain forest with some interesting information from our guide. I loved it. Small group and long enough but not too short. Great company and would recommend.

Beautiful ride and hike. Expected more from the guide (only one) who was a very nice young man (recent high school graduate) who lacked experience and confidence. Sweet demeanor and tried hard, but not really there for those with little experience (eg way out front and not aware).
