Overview

Enjoy a one and a half hour South Padre Island Dolphin Watch aboard the newly renovated Murphy's Law and see Atlantic Bottle-nose Dolphins in their natural habitat. During the Eco Tour/Dolphin Watch, you will also have the opportunity to see local and migratory birds and various sea life. The guided tour will also include the southernmost U.S. Coast Guard Station, Boca Chica Beach, the current location of Space X, and the South Padre Island Jetties...entryway to the Brownsville Ship Channel where one of the largest Shrimp Fleet calls home.

Staff were great and very kind! Offered to take pictures of our group. Enjoyed seeing the dolphins and local sea life during their eco demonstration. Be prepared to get ocean spray on days where the water is more choppy (I don’t mind it, but I know others do). Only con was when Captain Patrick was saying the titanic never sunk and seemed convinced. 🤦🏼‍♀️ My 7 yo son is a huge fanatic of titanic, has read multiple books about it and watched many videos on titanic and he was ready to debate the subject. 😆

Capt Mike and his crew, Ozzie and Pickle provided an excellent time for us on our last day on SPI. Not only did my grandkids and we adults see delightful dolphin pods, the educational visual hands on of our "catch" was another highlight of the trip. Capt Mike provided local history, good laughs, and safe travel for us. The day was a memorable one thanks to these three knowledgeable and good hearted men!

We had the best time with the Captain Murphy's crew! The weather was perfect -- we saw two dolphins (several times) along with the cool eco catch - puffer fish, starfish, a sting ray -- it was a great excursion and I would definitely do it again!
