Overview

Enjoy a one and a half hour South Padre Island Dolphin Watch aboard the newly renovated Murphy's Law and see Atlantic Bottle-nose Dolphins in their natural habitat. During the Eco Tour/Dolphin Watch, you will also have the opportunity to see local and migratory birds and various sea life. The guided tour will also include the southernmost U.S. Coast Guard Station, Boca Chica Beach, the current location of Space X, and the South Padre Island Jetties...entryway to the Brownsville Ship Channel where one of the largest Shrimp Fleet calls home.

Currently, there are no mask mandates or capacity limitations in place. You are welcome to wear a mask, but they are not required. We do make a practice of sanitizing the boat between trips, and our Captain and Crew frequently wash their hands.

Crew was amazing. The captain "Mike" was knowledgeable and friendly. Great outing for our family. We even got to hold a Stingray and puffer fish! Plenty of Dolphins to photograph and video! Isla Tours Rock!

Captain Murphy and Jen were very friendly and entertaining. The boat was in excellent condition and had prime viewing points. We experienced many sea creatures hands-on and saw amazing views of dolphins.

Absolutely loved it!! It was my birthday present and all 3 of my kids and my husband enjoyed it as well. The captain was funny and such a great person throughout the whole trip. The lady (I forgot her name) cast a net out and brought up wildlife. We got to see a huge conch shell (which she mentioned after 18 years of doing this, this is only her 3rd one to catch) so that was super cool to see. We saw stingrays, puffer fish, starfish and other cool creatures. We even got to hold and touch some! We also got educated about these creatures. There weren’t as many dolphins as I would have loved to see. The captain drove out to a few areas. We did see a few, but not as many. This was out of his control so I don’t feel like it is fair to take stats away just for this. Overall, the trip was great for the price. Enjoyable and fun and informative. I will definitely do it again when I come back!
