Overview

Traveling by electric bike is an incredibly fun and safe way to cover a lot of ground and take in some stunning views at the same time. While we do ask our guests to pedal, it is the electric bike that does most of the work. This allows us to soak up the beautiful scenery around us. We will also be visiting some areas that most tourist are not familiar with. And of course, we will learn a bit about Bend and the Deschutes River along the way!

What To Expect

Deschutes River

Imagine taking in the stunning views of Bend and the Deschutes River with snow-capped mountains in the background - all while pedaling effortlessly on a quality electric bike. We will hit some incredibly scenic spots while staying on multi-use paths so cars will not be present. We will learn a bit about the town, the river and the Old Mill area while casually exploring on e-bikes and hopefully encounter some river otter and other such wildlife. This will be an intimate group (limit 4 people) so that we can maximize our time in these incredible surroundings. At some point during the tour, we will stop along the river and relax while enjoying a tasty snack and beverage of your choice.

My husband and I highly recommend Scott’s Electric Bike Tour of Bend and Deschutes River! We took his wonderful tour on Wednesday, September 28, 2022, when we were visiting Bend from Minnesota. Neither of us had ever ridden an e-bike but bicycle frequently. Scott did a great job explaining how to ride the bike, helped us adjust the bikes for our heights, and had us ride around the block so we would get comfortable. Part of the reason we chose Scott’s tour is because he takes small groups of four or less; there were four of us on our tour. Most of our tour was on a mixed use trail so we did not have to ride on busy streets. We rode along the beautiful Deschutes River and stopped for a photo opportunity high above the river. We also rode around Drake Park and the Old Mill District. If you want to see Bend, and want to receive a memorable tour, please consider Scott’s tour!

We had a great and fun time on our bike tour. We’ve never rode electric bikes before and Scott was very helpful and knowledgeable about the towns history. The tour itself was beautiful and we would recommend this tour to anyone and any fitness levels.

Our guide, Scott, was fantastic. The electric bikes are in excellent condition and the trail is one without the competition of cars. It is, in our opinion, the best and most fun way to experience Bend, see city, which is beautiful and experience the terrain and the views. We had 4 folks, two that had never done e-bikes and 2 that had never done e-bikes and we all had a fantastic time. He brings water and you are wearing helmets so you don't need to bring those items. You can leave bags or items in his truck so you are not having to manage anything but yourself on the bike. :). Thank you Scott.
