Overview

Traveling by electric bike is an incredibly fun and safe way to cover a lot of ground and take in some stunning views at the same time. While we do ask our guests to pedal, it is the electric bike that does most of the work. This allows us to soak up the beautiful scenery around us. We will also be visiting some areas that most tourist are not familiar with. And of course, we will learn a bit about Bend and the Deschutes River along the way!

What To Expect

Deschutes River

Imagine taking in the stunning views of Bend and the Deschutes River with snow-capped mountains in the background - all while pedaling effortlessly on a quality electric bike. We will hit some incredibly scenic spots while staying on multi-use paths so cars will not be present. We will learn a bit about the town, the river and the Old Mill area while casually exploring on e-bikes and hopefully encounter some river otter and other such wildlife. This will be an intimate group (limit 4 people) so that we can maximize our time in these incredible surroundings. At some point during the tour, we will stop along the river and relax while enjoying a tasty snack and beverage of your choice.

Scott was a great tour guide and was patient with us until we felt comfortable on the bikes. The tour was well thought out covering trails and bike paths throughout the city and surroundings. It was the highlight of our trip to Bend Oregon!

Scott was very thorough in providing pre-trip information and gave us a great introduction to e-bikes at the beginning of the tour. He limits the tour to 4 riders so everyone gets lots of attention and instruction. The bikes are comfortable, we’ll-maintained, and easy to learn even for those of us who had never tried e-bikes before. The tour is very scenic, with the main part heading north along the Deschutes River, featuring scenic views of the Cascades and the beautiful river canyon. The second half was in Bend and features the central city, along the banks of the river, with lots of views of kayaking and surfing activity on the river. Most of the ride is on bike paths away from traffic and the few times we were on or crossed roads Scott selected light traffic roads and made sure we were safe. All in all an outstanding experience. Highly recommend this tour!

Scott was in touch and helpful a few days in advance. He was informative and helped us get familiar with the ebikes, since we hadn't used them before. He knew exactly where to lead us for some amazing views. We had a great time and would definitely do it again to see even more!
