A Pedego Electric Bike is the best way to experience all that Amelia Island has to offer. A Pedego is just like a regular bike - only better. You can pedal normally (or not) and get power when you want it. It feels like being a kid again!

What To Expect

Big Talbot Island State Park

During this tour, we ride down 7 mile’s of Amelia Islands designated bike path, over the George Crady Bridge, and into Big Talbot Island where we do a little trail riding down to the beach for a ride along the sand. The power of the bike makes the our trek through the sand easy-breezy. This tour provides a taste of Amelia Islands’ natural beauty and wildlife as we bike through moss-laden live oaks, along natural waterways, and on coastal paths. On the way back, riders have the option to stop at the Shops of Amelia Island for some refreshments prior to returning to the Pedego Store. *Optional stop subject to bike availability

We took our teens for some “forced family fun” and the electric bikes ended up being real family fun! What a great excursion- the electric bikes are a ton of fun for all ages riding down the paths towards big talbot island and zooming down the beach for Peter’s point at low tide. Pedego electric bikes had fantastic service- I called the day before and was informed I could reserve for a whole day online or show up and it would be first come first serve. Service was great! Would definitely recommend. We only wish grandpa had joined us! Great for all ages

We had a great time with the eBike excursion from Pedego! Nate and Lawrence- our tour guides - gave us just enough instruction to get comfortable riding on our own. Scenery was beautiful along the island route. Would definitely go again!

We rented bikes on a weekday and explored on our own using the map provided. It was a great experience. The freedom to cover so much ground in a short time was wonderful. I am sure we would never have attempted a beach ride without the ebike. Later we went into town and enjoyed an outdoor lunch. This was our first electric bike experience and the store rep made it all so easy. The bikes were in perfect shape. The battery gauge never went below 3 bars and we were gone for 5 hours. Would definitely recommend!!!
